good times… travellers notebook

i shared how i use my heidi swapp planner the other day and said how i also record memories in other ways and this is a new one, using my gorgeous leather travellers notebook….

i’ve spent a long time looking at other people’s and finally took the plunge. a fabulous scrappy friend recommended this book – i got it form here along with some inserts that are pretty amazing quality! the postage was fast and cheap so i’m thrilled to bits!

my rule for this book is that i won’t buy anything especially for it – it will all be smaller scraps and embellishments from my stash.

here is the front and the back – seriously i love how thick and beautiful the leather is…

anyway – the like for ever subscribers facebook group have a challenge at the moment and so i decided rather than a layout i would document in my book.

this was the challenge…

last august i got to meet a truly fabulous friend i have made in the online scrapping community, like seriously i was so giddy! tammy and i just hit it off online and just the same in real life. she happened to be coming to north wales where i live so we couldn’t pass up on this chance to get together, chat, eat, chat, drink, chat, walk, chat chat chat and i also got to meet here pretty adorable family. they walked my three pooches whilst we talked together. the sun was out and it was a perfect day. we just took a couple of pictures and had to document it!

me on the left, tammy on the right…

talk about a cute photo, tammy’s children and my pooches in betws-y-coed village

a few little notes…

cute embellishments and a bit of hand stitching…

just so you know tammy and i are still talking but on the phone for now – can’t wait for another meet up!

the papers and embellishments for this are all from the cocoa vanilla, make a wish collection.

i hope you’ve enjoyed looking at this, i love using a smaller scale than my usual 12 x 12 page, if you’ve not done it yet have a go!

thanks for stopping by

you can find me on

’til next time

C x
