hi everyone, a super quick post today……
i had created the background for this layout at christmas and popped it on one side, then forgot about it HA! it was created using my silhouette cameo machine and a background that created the holes for you to stitch. it was quite quick to do for a hand stitched project.
i decided to be totally stereotypical and put the aqua colour on the left where Louis is on the photograph and pink on Lily’s side. the paper layers match in too, then of course i carried on with this theme for the embellishments, popping lots of them on all clustered around the image.
now i normally either have no border or match it in with the papers and pop my page on to is like a mat – but this time i didn’t want to detract from the photo so i ‘gutted’ a white piece of card and placed it on 3d foam and used it like a frame, slightly roughing up the inside edge so it is clear that it is a frame.
here is the final layout…
and that was that, very simple but quite effective.
i really hope you like it.
