who ~ me?

just popping in with a new layout……

i stumbled across a star background on my silhouette cameo software that has pre cut holes for stitching. it’s designed to be stitched around but i thought hmmmmmm – maybe i could stitch over the shape, and that’s just what i did. i love the effect. once i had done the sewing i backed it on to some craft card as i wanted to make the layout a bit more sturdy and it created a neutral kind of shadow.

i had a couple of star shapes that had been left over from another layout and they fit perfectly inside these stars, a gorgeous glittery heart and hey presto!

now, there was a photo in my ‘to scrap’ drawer and i’d wanted to scrap it for a while but didn’t have the right colours. this is where sewing is great as you can make anything match YAY! in the like for ever kit this month were some gorgeous die cut shapes by we are memory keepers and so i grabbed a bunch and some lovely little tiny word stickers from my stash to make some clusters either side. the kit also had the gold alphas in it too.
