bows bows bows!

hi everyone it’s been a while!

christmas got in the way and then yakkity yak – i got a horrible virus that laid me low for weeks – but onwards and upwards and lots of layouts later I am back with a blog post yay!

i made the background for this one a couple of weeks ago and waited for my new like for ever smitten kit to arrive. It’s a mixture of crate paper – hello love, we are memory keepers – crush and some heidi swapp mixed in…….i mean heaven! the paper lines are love themed with valentine’s day around the corner, but we don’t really celebrate it but these papers can be used on any layout!

so, on to the layout. I designed the background on my silhouette software by repeating a bow design. the colours run on a diagonal rows. All are hand stitched, I’m not gonna lie – it took a LONG time!!!

lots and lots of stitching….

using the papers i created layers, plus lots of tags too. the photo of the frillies is of them in eurodisney paris so the globe came in handy as a marker and mini title. they are wearing the cutest minnie mouse dresses with bows on the front, so perfect for the background. the frillies are twins so i called the layout ‘seeing double’. they don’t normally EVER wear the same clothes so this is a rare photo of them that had to be documented.

layers and tags….
