just a fairly quick post for this layout
i knew i wanted to use my silhouette cameo machine to cut out some leaves to back with some of the autumnal papers from the like for ever acorn avenue kit
i chose a wood grain background to give the layout a really woody feel. the leaves were cut from a teal cardstock from my stash to pick up on the same colours in the papers. these were individually backed and then arranged in what i wanted to be a wreath shape (although it’s ended up looking a bit like a flower HA!). in the i used a large circle punch to cut the photo and mounted it on some paper.
around the edge of the centre i used some maggie holmes sequins and teal enamel dots to add a bit of the faded gold colour.
for the title i kept it simple with a wood vaneer ‘hello’ keeping it natural so it added to the woody feel.
to finish i had to add some heidi swapp colour shine in seafoam, gold and blush and used the tiny word stickers that came in the kit (adore them!).
i wasn’t too sure about this layout as it’s quite ‘formal’ which is different to my usual style but enjoyed using my cameo and creating a pretty layout for the frillies!
’til next time………..
